Filmmaking Student Andrew Laurendi

Based in Massapequa, New York, Andrew Laurendi gained customer service experience as a cashier at Whole Foods. Andrew Laurendi represented the Whole Foods brand to customers while operating scanners, managing sales, handling refunds and exchanges, and assisting with bagging purchased items. He gained further customer service experience as a bakery worker at Stew Leonards in Farmingdale.

Andrew Laurendi studied communications in Garden City, New York. He earned a film degree from Long Island University Post Campus. In 2023, he began a filmmaking course at the Los Angeles Film School. His courses encompass a range of technical subjects in independent filmmaking, including audio production, color correction, and cinematography, as well as classes such as digital literacy and screenwriting.

During his time at Iris Wolfson High School, Andrew Laurendi was elected class president. He received academic awards and read the morning announcements. Apart from his professional and academic activities, he maintains his physical fitness by regularly visiting the gym and engaging in various types of workouts. He also supports mental health awareness efforts.
